Hi, I’m Mia
I’m a Cat Friendly Veterinary Professional® (FelineVMA) and co-founder of Tiny Tigers Oasis, where I focus on feline behavior and kitten welfare.
I studied at veterinary school, where I gained a foundation in animal care, health and welfare. Early in my studies, I realized that clinical practice and surgery were not the path I wanted to pursue. What truly captured my interest was the emotional world of cats.
My journey into feline behavior began at home with my own cats. Like many cat parents, I faced challenges such as hissing, fighting, nighttime meowing, litter box accidents, and much more. I wanted to better understand what was driving these behaviors and how I could support my cats, so I began studying feline behavior more seriously.

Today, through Tiny Tigers Oasis, my husband Richard and I foster orphaned and rescued kittens. I work particularly with fearful, anxious, and undersocialized kittens, helping them feel safe, build confidence, and gradually learn to trust people.
Richard is a software developer and manages the technical side of Tiny Tigers Oasis. Alongside our work with cats, we also create custom websites tailored to the needs of individuals, organizations, and businesses.
